Just wanted to give you a quick update on our 3-on-3 basketball tournament that we held this weekend at Graffiti 2! We had an amazing team from the great state of Texas come and lead this event for us. The team was from First Baptist Church Georgetown, Texas. This is one of my co-worker's home church. Ironically, someone from my hometown attends that church and was leading the team this weekend. It's such a small world!
We had 16 teams (I think) that came out and participated in the tournament. This was a huge outreach to people in our community that we don't reach through our normal after school programs. Here are a few pictures from Saturday's tournament:
The winners! This was our 1st place team. They were so excited about getting to keep these basketballs as their prize! Those are some pretty good basketballs!

Many of these guys were seen out on the street Saturday night by Andrew (my boss) around 10:30 still wearing their medals and showing them off! This made my heart smile! :)
So many of these guys will remember this until next year's tournament!
