I thought it might be kind of fun for you to get to know me a little better (or for those of you who do know me—to relive some memories) through some photos. Every (or most) Friday I will post a “flashback” photo and tell a story about it! Hope you enjoy it!
I used to be a cheerleader.
This photo was taken my senior year of high school (2001-2002). It is one of my favorite photos of myself ever (because it reminds me of fun times)! I had so much fun cheering that year. I think I was confident in who I was then, so I was able to just be myself and enjoy it! I loved everything about Friday night football in a small town! Cheerleading was one of my favorite things that I did in high school. I cheered in 7th and 8th grades and my freshman and senior years of high school. I’m not real sure why I didn’t cheer my sophomore and junior years—maybe I decided to just focus on volleyball and basketball…not sure. Mom, do you remember? Anyway, I did enjoy it! I still remember most cheers that we did! And I still attempt to do a toe touch or a herkie (SP?) occasionally—don’t worry they are horrible! LOL!

Enjoyed your picture and it also took me down memory lane. You did have fun cheering your Senior year! You did not try out your sophomore and junior year because of cheerleader "drama" issues I think. I tried out for cheerleader, but never made it. But some of my favorite high school memories were of being in the Pep Club--I loved the school spirit stuff. Have fun in Austin. Love-Mom
Yes, Mom...I'm sure that is the reason I didn't try out! There is always drama when you put that many teenage girls together! haha!!

Favorite memories of my senior year of high school... hanging out with all of you! I miss that so much!
Being able to see each other every day and talk about whatever and not spend 5 hours catching up!
That reminds me... I am supposed to send out an email about next weekend!

One of my all time favs is when we got stopped by that cop at Rock City when we were "vacationing" before SLC. Those were fun times.

Katie--i'll have to work on the cool graphic!!! That would make my page more fun! haha! the trips to tennessee are by far some of my best memories!!!
